"Guns N' Roses" was founded in Los Angeles, California during the year 1985. The group, led by frontman and co-founder Axl Rose, has seen its share of personnel changes since their original incarnation. The group has released six studio albums during their career, three EPs and one live album.
The group is responsible for an estimated 100 million album sales worldwide, which includes over 43 million in the United States. In 1987 the group released their major label debut album Appetite for Destruction which sold more than 28 million copies and reached number one on the Billboard 200. They also landed three Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including "Sweet Child O' Mine" which reached all the way to number one.
In 1991 the group release two albums, Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II. Both made their debut on the two highest spots on the Billboard 200 and have sold a combined 14 million copies just in the U.S. The group's long-awaited follow-up album, Chinese Democracy, was finally released during 2008.
