"Yes" are an British progressive rock group that formed in London, England during the year 1968. Their music is marked by sharp dynamic contrasts, lengthy songs, abstract lyrics, and impressive instrumental prowess.
"Yes" blends symphonic and other 'classical' structures within their own unique brand of music. Even though the group has endured a number many personnel changes, occasional break-ups and the changing trends in popular music, the group has remained active for over four decades and still retains a large and loyal following.
Band members Chris Squire, Steve Howe and Alan White toured in late 2008 and early 2009 with vocalist BenoƮt David and keyboardist Oliver Wakeman on the In The Present Tour. Original frontman, Jon Anderson was unable to take part due to health reasons and the decision of the remaining members to tour with David as a replacement vocalist was a cause of friction between Anderson and the other members.
